Cool stuff this week 15 3 12

Polygon interviewed minecraft programmers. No, they didn't program using a text language, it was inside of the game itself. There is coverage of how they programmed inside the game shows a snake creature, and how it was designed. Amazing stuff.

Ever wanted to play an arcade game vs an iPhone? There is now an indie made game coming out that will do just that. Arcade Heroes lets you check it out, and imagine a world where arcade and smartphone combine.

PC Gamer has some great videos, and articles. The first is about an indie game where you cut things with a mouse controlled sword. The game has a really weird, and fun story.

The second PC Gamer story is over 100 free PC games ready for you to play. Some of these have been remade for consoles, and sell for $5-$10 today. So there are a ton of amazing games here.

The third is that Star Craft II finally has a third person shooter built from its RTS engine. This is sort of odd to watch. The game came out a few years ago with the ability to do this the entire time. So, its weird to have it out after such a long time.

There is a new all in one classic console system coming out. The website itself is in Japanese, but the good folks at SegaNerds translated it, and showed off all of the consoles it will play. My personal happiness is at the Turbografx Hu Cards player. Woot, Keith Courage!

A new homebrew Sega Genesis Game has been announced. It is a beat em up cyberpunk story. IGN has some commentary on it

There is a lot going on while we wait for the big cons, and NEWS.
