Sunder

Sunder is not a game you play alone. In fact, this is not a game you play just to play. It is a piece of art, that happens to be in game form. To play, you need to put on a pair of glasses. I put on the blue ones, while my fellow player put on red. This meant I could only see the character in the blue area, and no red player at all.

To Really play the game, we had to communicate what we saw. This meant talking to someone I really couldn’t see, or really knew. Every puzzle we met needed the use of both players in their red or blue dimension. The boss would attack, but only one side had the ability to hit it, and the other had the ability to turn on platforms.

The game itself is very artsy, and comes from creators who were going to school. The art house videogame project worked great, and I hope to play it again. The problem is, I have no idea how. The glasses, the display, and everything else is not easy to find.
