King Kaizar's search for Inner Architecture

The Wii U is underpowered, that is what some believe. As was written in Nin10do’s piece, there are some that believe there is more going on. In fact, someone named eyeofcore is posting in multiple forums with the same story. I was unable to get an interview with this person, however there is another on the John Lucas thread who is trying to figure out the architecture. Kaizar has already made some bold statements.

He has also posted some links to where he got his information. A speculation page on IGN, and a few links to WiiUDaily make up the core of his guesses. I asked him about this sources, and he said this.

Not much from Wikipedia luckily.

My sources are usually the news, but most sources are links posted by other users trying to prove their point. Then I check for sure if their source checks out.

Google is another source as well as Nintendo3DSblog.com & Wiiublog.com, and there used to be Nintendo3dsblog.net & Nintendowiiublog.net ...

...

In the end, I find it's best for everyone to wait 2 to 3 years to know stuff, like specs and so forth.....basically let other people out there do all the work. So all the sources on the Internet update their info, LOL.

He elaborated on the idea saying that at first people working with a 3DS thought that the system had 300 MB of RAM. It turned out to be the much faster moving 128 FC RAM. His opinion is to wait, because right now the speculation is running rampant.

Yes, 3 to 4 years after release should do it for new systems release in this modern day & age.

The Wii U has been speculated to have at least 480 shader. Now that it's out, everyone is now confirming specs by looking at it  with their own eyes. There's a minimum of over 300 shader cores confirm without a doubt so far, and counting.

Hopefully nothing needs to be out for as long as 5 years to get all the actual specs & functionality down.

In the end, it's just best to play the waiting game no matter how impatience someone like me is in wanting to know.

His explanation is that people are just opening up the systems, and trying to get them to do tricks. Knowing that one system is better than the other is hard, and can lead to mess ups.

It might be like GameCube VS. XBox,where the GameCube turned out to be more powerful because of efficiency making up the gap, and then some.

I wouldn't be surprise if the gap between the Wii U & PS4/ONE isn't that much, at least excluding the RAM, but the Wii U looks like it can do a lot more open world then Lego City Undercover, so how much open world does the Wii U need if any, for almost every future game to be release throughout the rest of the 8th Gen.
He also felt that videogames had taken a turn to more videogame like. I thought that was an odd description, and asked him to elaborate.
Video games are about interactiveness with a video simulation of anything the imagination comes up with.

By making video games more properly interactive (i.e. Wii & 3DS & Wii U) we are making video games even more like a video game then they already were.

Like Virtual Reality I suppose.

With the 3DS you get 3D vIsuals + 3D Sound (Surround Sound) plus motion sensors (3D controls) the game becomes more interactive.

With the Wii U you got the GamePad controller with such examples as:

Batman Arkham City Armored Edition trailer

Wii U Golf Prototype trailer

ZombiU trailer

Nintendo Land Ninja Castle trailer

Which gives you "single-player-asymmetrical gaming". Basically the Wii U makes video games more interactive with Maximized-Asymmetrical-Gaming.

With the inside camera and dual Speakerphones & geomagnetic sensors & motion sensors & NFC & microphone & IR and Touch Screen, the GamePad controller really expands on just how much more interactive a Video Game can be.

And that seems to be the state of video gaming today, where the same old really good increase in graphics, you need to do more than just adding any extra buttons, you need to make video games more into a video game by creating a much more interactive video game system, and Nintendo knows this.

The idea that the Wii is more of a videogame system than an XBox 360 is an interesting one. Think about it, they are both selling videogames, but one is more interactive, while the other shows off amazing graphics. The game is what defines the game, as Kaizar would say.

Kaizar is ready to write long articles about how Steve Jobs was not that into videogames. He told me that Jobs had once screwed over Steve Wozniak over a game of Breakout. It took extra time to get his responses written correctly, because of how much energy he puts into his writing. So, in the end, we see that he wants to know the answer, and is patiently waiting for them. While waiting, Kaizar continues to research, and check every blog he can find.
